Overview Of Our Approach
The pre-school was specifically designed and built to suit the needs of our young children.
It is a small, safe environment that has an intimate ‘home from home’ feel to soften the child’s entry into a structured learning environment. The Montessori philosophy will overarch and pervade our service during this formative stage of learning and we shall strive constantly to create opportunities for experiential learning and learning through play. In the spirit of “Maarif” we shall guide our learners towards self-actualization and respect for others. Above all, we shall strive relentlessly to ensure that our learners are happy as they learn.

Our ECD Classrooms Are

- furnished to provide the required ergonomics for beginners
- self-contained for all facets of early learning
Religious Education
International Maarif School does not teach religious studies. In the diverse and multicultural society that we live in, we believe that it is the choice and responsibility of parents to guide their child’s spiritual development. We do however teach universally accepted morals and values programme, which we hope will help guide children’s decisions and choices.
We are, however, always mindful of all religious precepts and welcome inputs by parents to ensure that no faith is compromised.
Nature Study
We endeavour to enrich our children’s education further, with a strong focus on nature and environmental issues
These topics vary from the life cycle of the frog, to learning to identify local garden birds. In this way, we draw the children’s attention to the natural environment around them.
