From the Principal

International Maarif School
Claremont - Cape Town
I greet you from the leafy, scenic suburb of Claremont in Cape Town.
After the eagerly - awaited, official opening ceremony held on 26 January 2024, we settled down to embrace the first school term of 2024. As we are a completely new secondary school, we have only a handful of grades 8, 9 and 10 students (with grades 11 and 12 being phased in over the next two years) but their boundless energy and enthusiasm more than make up for their small number. Likewise, our small but dedicated and passionate staff are putting in their best efforts and providing their unwavering support to get our school off the ground and on its way. It is indeed heartwarming to note that we are already receiving applications for 2025 which augers well for increased enrolment and ultimately, the growth of our school.
We are thrilled to be amongst the newest members of the Maarif family and as we continue our journey into what we hope will be a productive and successful future, we will continue to educate the youth of Cape Town while establishing our school as a leading educational institution. We trust that we can count on the well wishes and support of the Maarif Foundation leadership and our fellow IMS colleagues across the globe.
Warm wishes,
Mrs Denise Allen (Principal)
